What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a proven track record in both Software Service Model and Software Product Development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background in software development. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations.

Essential Functional Roles & Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Execute project plans, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Monitor and mitigate project risks, and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Client Collaboration:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to ensure alignment between project deliverables and business objectives.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members to ensure a shared understanding of project goals and tasks.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges within the team, promoting a positive and productive work culture.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimize project performance
  • Budget and Resource Management:
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Optimize resource allocation, balancing workloads and skill sets to maximize team efficiency.

Required Background & Skills

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in both Software Service Model and Software Product Development, with a minimum of 5 years in each domain.
  • Demonstrated success in managing full project lifecycles from initiation to closure.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • In-depth knowledge of Java programming language and related technologies commonly used in Java-based software development.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Leadership Abilities:
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
  • Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Scrum Master or Agile certifications are a plus.
