Technical Project Manager

About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
2. Develop detailed project plans and manage all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
3. Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA, and business analysts
4. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
5. Track and report project performance using tools like JIRA, MS Project, Trello, or Asana
6. Act as the primary point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
7. Conduct regular status meetings and maintain project documentation
8. Manage changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques
9. Ensure all projects comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards

Other Requirements:

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master’s preferred)

2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management within a tech/software environment

3. Proficient in project management software and tools

4. Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies

5. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

7. Strong leadership, time management, and conflict resolution skills

8. Female candidates are preferred for this position

Preferred skills:

1. Experience in managing cloud-based, web, or mobile application projects

2. Exposure to tools like Confluence, Git, Azure DevOps, or Slack

3. Familiarity with risk and change management processes

4. Budgeting and cost control experience
