Job DescriptionThe Technical Project Manager oversees the development and implementation processes for a company’s products and services, coordinating departmental and cross‑functional teams to deliver new solutions or enhance existing ones. The role manages projects from initiation through delivery, including schedule planning, progress tracking, and budget monitoring. It also ensures smooth cross‑functional execution so that projects are completed on time and within defined cost constraints. Commonly operating in a matrix organization, this role does not directly own product development but relies on strong technical knowledge to effectively manage project activities and drive successful outcomes. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

- Lead key projects—both small and moderately complex—to drive operational improvements and enhance process and tool efficiency across functions, regions, or local operations.
- Manage the execution of medium ‑ complexity programmes, ensuring delivery aligned with defined scope, targets, and milestones.
- Oversee project performance across financial and operational KPIs, including cost, schedule adherence, revenue contribution, asset management, and customer satisfaction.
- Interface effectively with business area leadership and other senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
- Own and manage customer relationships within the assigned scope, ensuring high standards in service delivery, performance, and engagement.
- Ensure all contract execution activities comply with PM@Nokia methodology and applicable business group processes and guidelines.
- Provide timely, accurate communication to relevant stakeholders regarding technical requests, emergencies, outages, and delivery ‑ related issues.
- Monitor, report, and continuously optimize service delivery performance using established processes and tools, ensuring full operational visibility for key stakeholders.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Science, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in the telecommunications domain with proven technical depth.
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies supported by hands‑on experience in hardware design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing BBD roadmap projects, ensuring on‑time, high‑quality, and cost‑target‑aligned product development and delivery.
- Proficiency in project initiation, progress tracking, milestone management, and execution in accordance with Nokia’s Product Life Cycle processes.
- Strong capability to coordinate cross‑DU R&D teams, supply chain, procurement, quality, and external JDM/ODM and SoC vendors to meet project quality, schedule, and content requirements.
- Solid competence in risk and change management, along with the ability to handle customer issues effectively in partnership with TEC/CE and Maintenance PLM.
