Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and deliver embedded projects within the Automotive EV domain.
This role is ideal for:
- Early-career TPMs (1–5 years experience), OR
- Application Engineers with strong automotive embedded expertise who are ready to transition into a Project Management role.
- Automotive Domain experience is must.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex automotive embedded projects while ensuring timelines, quality, and budget adherence
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end automotive embedded project lifecycle (Concept → SOP).
- Define scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plans.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration (Engineering, Product, Quality).
- Track deliverables, manage risks, and drive mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and automotive standards.
- Monitor budgets and optimize resource utilization.
- Present project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
🔹 Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Project Life Cycle Expertise: Deep understanding of the entire automotive embedded product development lifecycle, with a focus on iterative development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
- Technical Proficiency in Automotive Systems: Strong technical knowledge of embedded systems, including hardware architectures, real-time operating systems (RTOS), communication protocols (CAN bus, LIN bus), and functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Agile Problem-Solving and Change Management: Ability to identify, analyse, and solve complex technical challenges within an Agile framework. Adapt to changing requirements and effectively manage project scope.
- Risk Mitigation and Functional Safety: Proactive approach to risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning. Ensure adherence to functional safety standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with engineering teams, product managers, customers and other stakeholders. Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear project status updates.
- Technical Communication and Documentation: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop comprehensive project documentation, including requirements specifications, system design documents, and test plans.
- Delivery and Resource Optimization: Proven track record of on-time and on-budget project delivery through effective resource allocation, planning, and project scheduling. Leverage lean project management techniques to optimize resource utilization and project efficiency.
🔹 Eligibility:
- 1–5 years experience in TPM / Embedded Engineering / Application Engineering (Automotive EV).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ECE or Electronics related).
🔹 Nice to Have:
- Have PMP Certification
- Experience with global automotive programs
- Lean project management exposure
