Technical Project Manager (Mobile & Web Apps) Initial 3 months contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 4-5 years to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project life-cycle of mobile and web application development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. Your role will require a blend of technical knowledge, strong project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and both technical and non-technical teams. You will facilitate the Agile development process and remove any impediments that hinder the team's progress in guiding and coaching teams to successfully adopt and implement Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Planning & Execution: Manage and deliver multiple mobile and web application projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Apply Agile frameworks, managing Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

· Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and clients, ensuring clear communication on project status, expectations, and risks.

· Team Coordination: Lead and collaborate with development, design, and QA teams to establish clear milestones, project timelines, and deliverables.

· Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership, identifying potential roadblocks, and helping teams navigate technical challenges during development. Utilize in-depth knowledge of MEAN and MERN stack technologies to support development teams in overcoming technical challenges.

· Risk Management: Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal impact on delivery timelines.

· Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.

· Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Experience: 4-5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably with a focus on mobile and web applications.

· Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of mobile app development (iOS/Android) and web app technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks, etc.).

· Project Management Tools: Proficiency with project management tools such as Clickup, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar tools.

· Methodologies: Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt to the needs of each project.

· Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving results.

· Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

· Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience working with remote teams and self managed and is proactive.

· Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.

· Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.

· Experience with cloud platforms and hosting solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a bonus.
