Technical Scrum Master - Internship

Overview

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Facilitate all agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure backlog grooming and prioritization are aligned with strategic objectives.
3. Proactively identify and remove impediments to ensure team productivity.
4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and agile best practices.
5. Monitor sprint progress, track key metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.), and communicate updates to leadership.
6. Assist teams in adopting best practices for AI/ML lifecycle management, including model development, deployment, and monitoring.
7. Work with cross-functional teams across data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and AI operations.
8. Support compliance, data governance, and ethical AI standards where applicable.

Skills required:

Strategy, Scrum, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Artificial intelligence, Google Cloud Platforms (GCP), Effective Communication and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Other Requirements:

1. Experience working with AI/ML model development teams.

2. Understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle management, and cloud-native AI platforms.

3. Experience working with remote and distributed teams.

Required qualification:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. 

2. 1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in technology teams, ideally with exposure to AI, data science, or ML projects. 

3. Solid understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). 

4. Strong technical background with familiarity in software development lifecycle, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data pipelines. 

5. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously. 

6. Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
