About The Role
As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and execute test plans that validate the functionality and performance of our applications. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify testing requirements and ensure that all software meets the highest standards before release. By analyzing test results and documenting defects, you will contribute to continuous improvement in our development processes. Ultimately, your work will help deliver exceptional software solutions that meet our customers' needs and expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
The required skills will be utilized daily as you develop and execute test plans that ensure software quality. Your proficiency in Bugzilla will enable you to efficiently track defects and manage the testing process, while your understanding of test procedures will guide your approach to validation and testing. Knowledge of the C programming language will allow you to analyze code and identify potential issues during testing. Additionally, your ability to generate clear and concise test reports will facilitate communication with team members and stakeholders. Preferred skills, such as experience with automated testing tools, will enhance your efficiency and effectiveness in delivering high-quality software.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
- Proficiency in using Bugzilla and other testing tools.
- Strong understanding of test procedures, test plans, and validation/testing processes.
- Familiarity with programming in C and the ability to understand code for testing purposes.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
- Experience in performance testing and load testing.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages or scripting.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- Utilize Bugzilla and other test management tools to track defects and manage the testing lifecycle.
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, and validation of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs and provide feedback on software design and functionality.
- Generate detailed test reports and documentation to communicate testing outcomes and recommendations for improvements.
