Job Summary

Job Title: Software Tester Location: TechM Hyd TMTC IT1 Years of Experience: 2 5 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Software Tester with strong manual testing knowledge to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing methodologies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by identifying defects and ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test cases based on software requirements and specifications. Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on software functionality. Document test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution. Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to improve testing processes and methodologies. Conduct regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes. Assist in the development of automated test scripts as needed. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing. Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge and hands on experience in manual testing techniques. Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and test plans. Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Ability to analyze requirements and create test scenarios accordingly. Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus. Experience in performance testing and security testing. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies. Understanding of SQL and database testing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on manual testing. Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
