Position:
We are looking for a smart, experienced, creative and naturaly inquisitive Test Lead, who has a strong passion for testing and technology. You believe in the importance of embodying our clients' brand into the overall experience and you have a strong understanding or interest in OTT apps.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate work according to company and QA Test Strategy, Automation Strategy and Performance Strategy
- Define and coordinate Test/Automation/Performance strategy for a project
- Attend tech reviews, backlog refinement, sprint and release planning meetings
- Provide task estimates, manage estimations, monitor and control progress
- Participate on Resource planning and long term planning
- Plan/Coordinate/Prioritise work within the team
- Distribute work across team members
- Daily task management for project test team
- Analyse requirements, review test cases
- Identifyand manage risks, escalate issues
- Guiding juniors, mid, and senior test analysts and conduct evaluation reviews and organize knowledge transfer sessions
- Organize, attendand host meetings (project meeting, QA meetings etc.)
- Attend workshops and provide QA feedback
- Organize and hold technical trainings and coaching team members on technical level
- Create QA documentation
- Report issues and results
- Provide status of Team activities and report to Test Manager
- Create and review weekly/monthly/sprint reports
- Set up Automation/Performance testing framework on the project
- Identify areas for improvements and propose changes
- Track testing activities
- Contribute to team processes
- Track, manage, improve, and report Team Health
- Plan and execute tester mentoring, participate in the definition and realization of ADP
- Handle line managers responsibilities to plan and execute mentoring and actively contribute to ADP definition and implementation
- Coordinate the plan, strategy, and test results with client
- Collaboration with project stakeholders – PMs/BA/Dev Leads
Requirements:
Technical Skills
- Knowledge and experience of Agile development cycles
- Advanced experience with all tests - System, SIT, UAT and Regression
- Hands on experience testing services / APIs and mobile applications on Android and iOS
- Familiar with Postman, Charles Proxy, Swagger, SoapUI
- Familiar with Atlassian stack (Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence)
- Familiar with automation testing frameworks
- Knowledge and wide experience in non-functional testing
- Excellent knowledge of at least two Test Management and Defect Management tools
- Excellent organizational and management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of QA processes and goals

- Team player with a proactive approach
- Proven experience being approachable, trustworthy and well respected by teammates and peers
- Excellent knowledge development and knowledge sharing skills
- Able to clearly communicate technical requirements and write documentation

- Intelligent, enthusiastic, inquisitive
Qualifications
- Technical/Scientific degree preferable
- Minimum Grade B Maths & English GCSE or equivalent
- At least 2 years on a role of test lead or similar
- At least 4 years in a senior test analyst role or similar
