Urgent Opening for Passive Network Engineer for Bengaluru location

Overview

• Plan, install, and maintain passive network components such as fiber optic and copper cabling, patch panels, cable trays, and network racks.
• Conduct site surveys to determine optimal cable routing and equipment placement.
• Ensure all cabling infrastructure is compliant with industry standards (EIA/TIA, ISO/IEC, BICSI).
• Coordinate with active network engineers, electricians, and contractors during implementation phases.
• Perform cable testing, fault finding, and certification using appropriate tools (e.g., Fluke testers).
• Document network layouts, cable routing diagrams, and as-built drawings.
• Maintain inventory of passive components and support procurement planning.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards during all installations and maintenance work.
• Support upgrades, relocations, and expansions of existing network infrastructure.
