Business FunctionRisk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join Risk Management Group. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the team by identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, processes, and risks along with project managing the implementation of the system changes.
This involves collaborating with various stakeholders across the bank to understand their needs and translate them into actionable solutions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.Responsibilities* Requirements Elicitation and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis. Prioritize and manage competing requirements.* Solution Design and Documentation: Collaborate with technical teams to design and document solutions that meet business requirements and address identified risks; executing good quality user stories.* Testing and Validation: Participate in the testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure they meet the required specifications and address identified risks; enhancing the quality of UAT.* Project Support: Support project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of risk management-related projects.* Budgeting: Manage budgeting function relating to Tech enhancements and initiatives* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear and concise documentation of business requirements, process flows, risk assessments, and project progress. Prepare regular reports for stakeholders.* Data Management: Handle Data related governance requirements , Conduct periodic validations of risk data aggregation and risk reporting practices and Conduct periodic assessment of Data quality and lead DQ improvement efforts within Risk Management* Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed of progress and addressing their concerns.* Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of relevant regulatory requirements and ensure that business processes and systems comply with these requirements.Qualifications: * Min Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.* [Number] years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry.* Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.* Understanding of risk management principles and frameworks.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).* Experience with data analysis tools is a plus.* Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.Competencies: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Detail-oriented and organized.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.* Proactive and results-oriented
