We are seeking a talented and experienced Core PHP Developer to join our team. As a
Core PHP Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our
website's functionality, security, and SEO. You will work closely with the on-page SEO
specialist to implement technical SEO changes and ensure optimal website
performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Website Maintenance:
- Regularly update and maintain the website's codebase to ensure optimal
- Fix bugs and troubleshoot website issues promptly.
- Implement security measures to protect the website from vulnerabilities and
- Perform regular backups to safeguard website data.
- Technical SEO Implementation:
- Collaborate with the on-page SEO specialist to understand and implement
- Optimize website loading speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Improve website structure and URL structure for better crawlability.
- Implement schema markup to enhance search engine visibility and rich snippets.
- Fix technical SEO issues identified in website audits.
- New Feature Development (as needed):
- Develop new features and functionalities for the website as required.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Test and debug code to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Web Performance Optimization:
- Identify and resolve Core Web Vitals bottlenecks on the website.
- Proactively identify and resolve front-end and back-end performance issues
- Implement performance optimization techniques like code minification, image
- Monitor website performance metrics and make data-driven improvements.
Job Expectations:
- Technical SEO and Crawlability:
- Identify and fix technical SEO issues that might be causing crawling, rendering, or
- Run periodic technical SEO audits to ensure the website's SEO health and optimize
- Analyze crawl reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Team Leadership and Communication:
- Manage, inspire, and work with a team of in-house developers working on the
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical
- Define, prioritize, and organize web performance and technical SEO tasks.
- Interpret KPIs and other relevant metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Minimum experience of 2-2.5+ years in the same domain (past work case studies
- Strong proficiency in PHP programming language
- Good experience with PHP frameworks like WordPress, Laravel or CodeIgniter
- Understanding of database management systems (MySQL or similar)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with website maintenance and troubleshooting
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
