Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing attractive and functional websites for our clients. The WordPress Developer will work closely with our project managers and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality websites that meet client specifications.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement responsive and user-friendly WordPress websites based on client specifications.
2. Collaborate with project managers, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
3. Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet project needs.
4. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch as needed.
5. Perform website testing and debugging to ensure functionality and responsiveness across various browsers and devices.
6. Optimize websites for performance, speed, and search engine optimization (SEO).
7. Collaborate with the design team to ensure that the visual elements of the website align with the overall design concept.
8. Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and technologies.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
3. Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
4. Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
5. Experience with PHP and MySQL for custom theme and plugin development.
6. Familiarity with web design principles and best practices.
7. Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
10. Strong communication and time management skills.
11. Portfolio of previous WordPress development projects.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Divi, Elementor, Beaver etc).
2. Knowledge of e-commerce solutions for WordPress (e.g., WooCommerce).
3. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
4. Understanding of security best practices for WordPress.
5. Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
