Duration: 3 months, post-completion, there will be a full-time opportunity

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Web Developer Intern to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications. The intern will work closely with our development team to learn best practices and contribute to the development of high-quality web solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in both front-end and back-end web technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Help with front-end design and ensure responsive layouts for various screen sizes.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate web applications with databases and server-side logic.
• Support testing and debugging of websites and web applications.
• Assist in creating and maintaining web documentation.
• Stay updated with current industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to web functionality and design.
• Contribute to code reviews and collaborate on team projects.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web design principles.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with back-end languages such as PHP, Node.js.
• Understanding of responsive web design and user experience principles.
• Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• A keen willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs or web services.
• Knowledge of website optimization and performance best practices.
• Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS).
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles is a bonus.
