About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and tech-savvy Web Development Intern to join our remote team. This is a full-time opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both custom web development and CMS platforms like WordPress. You will work on real projects, enhance your skills across the development stack, and collaborate with professionals in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
• Build and customize websites on WordPress, including themes, plugins, and custom post types
• Assist in developing back-end features using Node.js, Express, PHP, or Python
• Manage databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
• Work on responsive design, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot bugs, implement fixes, and test for functionality and usability
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience working with WordPress, including theme customization and plugin integration
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
• Knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Express, PHP, or Django)
• Understanding of database operations (MySQL, MongoDB, or similar)
• Ability to follow coding best practices and write clean, maintainable code
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working independently in a remote environment

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience developing custom WordPress themes or plugins
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., Mailchimp, Stripe, etc.)
• Understanding of website security, SEO, and accessibility best practices
• Exposure to deployment platforms (e.g., Netlify, Vercel, Firebase, or cPanel)
• Experience with UI/UX tools like Figma or Adobe XD
