About the job:

We are seeking a skilled Web Scraping & Data Enrichment Engineer to design, build, and manage automated, scalable systems for extracting, cleaning, and enriching contact and company data. This role is crucial for powering our SaaS product's data collection engine, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and uninterrupted operation against sophisticated anti-bot measures.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain scalable web scraping pipelines using tools like Scrapy, Playwright, or Selenium to handle data from dynamic, authenticated, and JavaScript-rendered websites (SPAs).
2. Implement advanced anti-bot measures, including proxy rotation, CAPTCHA bypass, and user-agent management, while monitoring performance and troubleshooting failures in real time.
3. Clean, validate, and normalize large volumes of extracted data, ensuring storage integrity in structured formats (SQL/NoSQL).
4. Ensure all scraping activities adhere to legal and ethical standards (e.g., GDPR/CCPA compliance) and collaborate with product teams to meet specific data requirements.

* Strong commitment to building legally compliant and technically robust data systems.

* Highly analytical and a strong problem solver (reverse-engineering, anti-bot handling).
