Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Whizhack, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining distributed microservices-based SaaS applications for hybrid cloud environments. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of our software Responsibilities :
As a DevOps Engineer at Whizhack, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining distributed microservices-based SaaS applications for hybrid cloud environments. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of our software Responsibilities :
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage resources in hybrid cloud environments.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) : Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of microservices and applications.
- Containerization : Containerize applications using technologies like Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes for scalability and resilience.
- Monitoring, Backup and Disaster Recovery : Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and Requirements :
- At least 3+ years of professional experience in cloud/DevOps engineering.
- Proven hands on knowledge of cloud service providers (especially Azure), infrastructure build, and configurations.
- Profound experience with Linux and Windows administration and scripting.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipeline and continuous testing tools.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in one or more programming languages, including Python, Go, etc.
- Experience in automation scripting using languages like Terraform, Ansible Bash etc.
- Hands on experience in code version management using Git, Git bash on platforms like Github, Gitlab etc.
- Ability to use Rest-API usage, command line interface and SDKs for writing applications.
- Proficiency in security and compliance tools like IAM, KMS, Security Hub :
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications such as Azure/ AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is desirable.
