Wireless Network Engineer

Overview

Handle incidents assigned to Tier 1 NOC.

Remotely support customer's LAN , WAN and Wireless LAN.

Work with Tier 2 and Tier 3 team to develop customer and device specific knowledge base.

Configuration management of Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Wireless LANs, network segments, security devices and Internet and Intranet systems to ensure operability.

Perform fault isolation and resolution in a methodical and thorough manner in accordance with SLA.

Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot within the roles of Incident Management (Return-to-Service), Problem Management (Reason for Outage) and Change management.

Meet and exceed customer SLA or OLA metrics.

Work with third party vendors to remediate and resolve customer issues.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Minimum 3 Years Of Technology Experience In Networking Environment.

ITIL foundation knowledge and certification.

Hands-on Experience In Working With The Following

Cisco routers, Catalyst switches, Nexus switches, WLCs & Meraki devices

HP, Aruba switches, routers & WLCs

SD WAN – Silver peak, Velo cloud etc.

Good level of understanding on the virtualization concepts.

Knowledge on Public Clouds like Azure, AWS, Google

Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.

Hand-on experience with routers, switches, wireless controllers. (Cisco, Aruba, and Meraki)

Proficient with standard troubleshooting practices and methodologies.

Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.

Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
