The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to lead the development of our robust digital platform. This role requires a developer with a proven track record of building complex, high-traffic WordPress solutions that go beyond standard websites, focusing on dynamic content, sophisticated user experiences, and scalable architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain a comprehensive WordPress-based platform capable of handling diverse content types and service offerings.
• Implement advanced user management systems, including secure authentication flows and distinct user dashboards tailored to various user roles and their specific needs.
• Design and develop intuitive frontend interfaces for content submission, search, and detailed display, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
• Customize WordPress core functionalities, themes, and plugins to meet unique business requirements and ensure seamless integration of all platform components.
• Ensure the website is highly performant, scalable, secure, and fully responsive across all devices.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to translate complex functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for maximum speed and stability.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, security best practices, and broader web technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive WordPress Expertise: Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, custom post types, custom taxonomies, meta fields, and the WordPress API.
• Complex Platform Development: Proven experience in building large-scale, dynamic WordPress websites, such as classifieds, directories, or marketplaces.
• Custom Development: Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (including AJAX), HTML5, and CSS3. Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Database Management: Experience with MySQL database optimization and complex queries within a WordPress environment.
• User Experience (UX) Focus: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing WordPress websites for speed, scalability, and security.
