Job Title: .NET Developer with GCP Experience

Location: Remote

Experience: 5–8 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer with hands-on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) experience to join our team for a strategic cloud migration project. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise using the Microsoft .NET stack and proven experience in migrating applications from on-prem or other cloud environments to GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET technologies (.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, etc.)

Participate in end-to-end migration of .NET applications to GCP

Re-architect or refactor existing monolithic applications for cloud-native design

Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for smooth deployment on GCP

Implement GCP-native services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, etc.

Integrate CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices for cloud deployment

Write clean, testable, and efficient code with proper documentation

Conduct code reviews and participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, etc.)

Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and scalability issues on GCP

Ensure security, compliance, and monitoring best practices in GCP environments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

4–8 years of experience in .NET development

Must have 1+ years of hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)

Solid understanding of GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Firestore, Pub/Sub, etc.

Strong understanding of RESTful API development and integration

Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and data migration to GCP

Familiarity with cloud migration methodologies (Rehost, Refactor, Rearchitect)

Proficient with version control systems (Git), CI/CD tools, and agile development practices

Preferred Skills:

GCP certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer)

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE)

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Deployment Manager)

Knowledge of security and compliance practices in cloud deployments

Previous experience working in large-scale migration projects
