We are looking for a 5G/6G Embedded/RAN Software Developer to join our team in Zagreb and work on the Ericsson Radio System. We handle everything from software development and hardware integration to system verification, ensuring our technology supports the latest 5G innovations and enhances existing 4G networks.
We develop and support globally deployed products used by various operators powering millions of sites that rely on our expertise and bring wireless connectivity to billions of people.
You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues across the world. Our teams are self-organizing, involved in the entire development cycle (including initial requirement analysis, study, design, implementation, verification, delivery, and maintenance), and use agile methods like Scrum or Kanban.

What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll contribute to the design, development, and integration of embedded radio systems across a range of technical domains.
We are looking for:
Technical Expertise
Our teams rely on a broad range of technical skills in their daily work, with expected expertise levels varying by seniority and project needs.
- Embedded systems with real-time capabilities (hardware and software)
- Operating system principles (Linux in particular)
- Basic understanding of RAN L1 or L2 or L3
- Signal processing and antenna systems
- C/C++ for product development
- Code repositories and versioning systems (such as Git and Gerrit)
- Integration, troubleshooting, and debugging
