Agentic AI Engineer

Overview

About the Role:
We are looking for an Agentic AI Engineer who can build and ship AI-powered features and workflows using LLMs. You will work on integrating AI into real products from APIs and prompts to agent workflows and retrieval systems. This is a hands-on role. You don’t need to know everything about AI infra, but you should be able to build, test, and improve working systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Build AI-powered features using LLM APIs (OpenAI, open-source models, etc.)
• Implement agent workflows (tool use, basic chaining, structured outputs)
• Work on RAG pipelines (retrieval + generation using vector DBs)
• Build and maintain backend services (APIs) for AI features
• Improve outputs through prompting, evaluation, and iteration
• Track performance (latency, cost, quality) and make improvements
• Work with Product to turn ideas into working AI features

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of experience in:
• Backend engineering / full-stack / applied AI
• Hands-on experience with: LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) & Python (preferred) or similar backend language
• Understanding of: RAG (retrieval + generation) & Prompt & Agent design and structured outputs
• Ability to build and ship end-to-end features
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, experimental environment

Good to Have:

• Experience with tools like: LangChain / LlamaIndex / similar frameworks
• Familiarity with:Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector)
• Exposure to:AI copilots, chat systems, or automation workflows

• AI features that work reliably in production
• Fast iteration cycles (build → test → improve)
• Clear improvements in output quality and user experience
• Reasonable control over latency and cost
