AI Cloud-Native Application Developer (Python)

Overview

As an AI Cloud-Native Application Developer (Python), you will design, develop, and deploy scalable, cloud-native applications that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into secure, innovative solutions, utilizing Python and modern cloud technologies. This role is ideal for technical leaders passionate about cutting-edge AI solutions and cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement end-to-end cloud-native applications using Python and major cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure,).
• Integrate AI/ML models and services to deliver intelligent features that support key business objectives.
• Develop robust APIs and microservices to enable seamless integration with internal and external systems.
• Use containerization and orchestration technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes) to ensure scalable and resilient application deployments.
• Apply best practices in security, DevOps, and cloud-native architecture to deliver high-performing, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, cloud engineers, and business stakeholders to design and implement AI-powered features.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex application and model integration issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in adopting effective Python and cloud development practices.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement within applications and workflows.
  
  
  

• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing cloud-native applications on platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Proficiency in Python for application development, automation, and implementing AI/ML components.
• Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs and cloud services.
• Practical knowledge of machine learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Oracle AI Services) and deploying AI/ML models in production-grade applications.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, security, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills for both application and AI model issues.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
  
  
  

• Exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven design on cloud platforms.
• Prior work with data pipelines, ETL processes, or cloud storage solutions.
