AI Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an AI engineer to architect and develop scalable, resilient, and ethical AI solutions for the IH organization. This role will establish connectivity to Large Language Models (LLMs), implement layered guardrails, utilize LLMs and open-source libraries, develop and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, resilient, and ethical AI solutions in collaboration with Product Development, serving as a Generative AI subject matter expert.
• Establish connectivity to LLM endpoints in the enterprise cloud and document DNS, routing, IAM policies, and firewall rules.
• Implement layered guardrails, including input validation, prompt‑injection shielding, runtime constraints, and content safety, following the enterprise standards.
• Build solutions that align with Responsible AI principles, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with enterprise governance requirements and emerging regulations.
• Utilize LLMs, open-source frameworks, machine learning techniques, and numerical programming tools to create transformative business solutions.
• Work with open-source libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain), cloud platforms, and internal systems to deliver best-in-class AI capabilities.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Stay current on AI trends, infrastructure, and emerging issues, particularly as they relate to LLMs and enterprise AI adoption.
