Android Application Developer (Only JAVA Candidate)

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer proficient in Java to join our mobile app development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver top-tier mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Build Android Applications: Develop robust and user-friendly Android applications using Java, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Maintain Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns for Android development.
• Debug and Troubleshoot: Identify and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to implement features and improve the overall product.
• Optimize Applications: Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability, including working on memory management and battery efficiency.
• Integrate APIs and Web Services: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and other web services.
• Testing and Deployment: Write unit tests, and conduct debugging and performance tests to ensure stability and reliability. Support the deployment of apps to Google Play Store.
• Follow Android Guidelines: Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, libraries, and practices to ensure best-in-class apps.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all stages of the development process, from architectural decisions to final code.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Android app development using Java.
• Strong Knowledge of Android SDK: In-depth understanding of Android frameworks, Android Studio, and development tools.
• Proficiency in Java: Strong command of Java programming language and object-oriented principles.
• UI/UX Experience: Familiarity with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, including experience with layouts, themes, and styles.
• Knowledge of Databases: Experience with local databases such as SQLite, Room, and preferences.
• API Integration: Experience integrating third-party libraries, RESTful APIs, and cloud messaging APIs like Firebase.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git for source control and version management.
• Experience with Testing: Understanding of unit testing, automated testing, and UI testing.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Strong Understanding of Android App Lifecycle: Knowledge of activities, fragments, services, and broadcast receivers.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
