Role: Android Developer - IoT Applications

We are searching for a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications that seamlessly integrate with our innovative IoT devices. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate developer with a strong foundation in Kotlin to contribute to the future of connected products.

Location: Remote

Experience: 4 years

Per Hour Rate Pay: Rs.350 to Rs.450

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and implement native Android applications for smartphones and tablets using Kotlin.

● Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate product requirements into user-friendly and intuitive mobile experiences.

● Integrate with our IoT devices using appropriate communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi,NFC,MQTT).

● Develop features for data visualisation, device control, and user interaction with IoT functionalities.

● Implement robust security measures to protect user data and ensure device communication integrity.

● Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code according to best practices.

● Conduct thorough Unit testing to ensure application functionality and performance.

● Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Android development tools and technologies (e.g., Jetpack libraries, Material Design).

● Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and codebase.

Qualifications and Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

● Minimum of 4+ years of experience developing native Android applications with Kotlin.

● Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

● Experience with Android Studio, XML, and other relevant Android development tools.

● Experience with networking protocols commonly used in IoT applications (e.g., BLE, Wi-Fi, MQTT, NFC).
