Android Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer with 3 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the Android SDK, design patterns, and modern app development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Android app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with MVVM architecture and clean code principles.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Firebase).
• Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of modern tools like Dagger/Hilt, Coroutines, LiveData, and Room DB.
• Familiarity with Google Play Console and app release process.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.
