Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in developing Android applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Kotlin, expertise in Google Maps integration, and solid experience with Git for version control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST/JSON).
• Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability.
• Identify and fix bugs, and continuously improve application performance.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Work on app deployment and play store submission process.
• Optimize app performance and memory usage.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Kotlin programming language.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and architectural components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel).
• Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and push notifications.
• Good understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, FCM) and SQLite.
• Strong experience with Google Maps API and related libraries.
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
