Must have technical skills

• Strong and demonstrable knowledge of Android Java, Kotlin
• Common design patterns - MVC, MVVM, MVP
• Very Strong in Data Structures and Algorithms
• Multi-threaded programming & familiarity with android Jetpack
• Usage of frameworks -> Volley/Retrofit, Picasso/Glide, DataBinding.
• Usage of Android support libraries, Firebase, Any Push Notification frameworks.
• Java Design Patterns - Factory, Observer, Singleton, Adapter & Builder Pattern.
• Android Concepts - Themes, Navigation Drawer, TabLayouts etc.

Good to have:

• Understanding of Scrum and Agile Methodologies.
• Usage of jenkins and pipelines w.r.t mobile platforms.
• Working with Firebase SDK namely Crashlytics, Remote Config, Analytics, CleverTap.
• Working independently and closely with the Product teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in developing
• Ethical, hardworking, and 'passionate about startups' mindset
• Is a self-starter, and loves working in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent structured problem-solving ability

• Be proficient in Java and Kotlin

This role is not ideal for someone who is-

• Has not worked on 2-3 android applications
• Lacks basic proficiency in Android development using Java and Kotlin
• Has not created any android project from scratch
• Not comfortable with long working hours i.e. 10-12 hours daily
• Not comfortable working 5 days a week from office in Delhi

Important Points:

1. Office Location- Connaught Place, Delhi
2. Work Timings - 9:30 till work gets over. You are considering joining a startup. Building anything of value takes time. The majority of our exits happen within the first 2 months of people joining because new joiners are not able to adjust to the high pace environment. You can expect 10-12 hours of work in a day!
