PhysicsWallah (PW) is looking for a passionate Android SDE-2 to contribute to the development of high-performance, scalable mobile applications. This role requires strong fundamentals in Android development, hands-on coding expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced product environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Implement features end-to-end from development to deployment.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams for seamless feature delivery.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

🧩 Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• 3–6 years of hands-on Android development experience.
• Experience working on consumer-facing B2C applications preferred.
• Exposure to product-based or high-growth environments is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and app lifecycle.
• Experience with modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Jetpack components).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of performance optimization and memory management.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices is a plus.
