Application Developer 3

Overview

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining intuitive business process and/or social web applications for internal and external clients.Responsibilities

• Participate in key stakeholder meeting and ensure high quality functional requirements are gathered for the implementation of the solution
• Safeguard the security integrity and confidentiality of the company's internal systems and data by following company security protocols
• Develop high-risk complex solution designs; apply extensive experience and apply team standards in solution development
• Develop and execute unit and integration testing
• Communicate and gain approval from stakeholders on developed solutions; revise and modify as necessary
• Create maintain and update documentation of project code and processes following standards set forth by the applications team
• Migrate solutions into production environments
• Maintain and support developed solutions; engage third party vendors when necessary
• Train and support complex end-user requests on developed solutions
• Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge
• Mentor coach train and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team
• Identify and improve team standards and grow knowledge of the team including but not limited to documentation testing and development
• Plan prioritize and estimate incoming work
  
  

• Bachelor's degree
• Significant experience as an Application Developer
• Significant experience with web development
• Strong coding skills
• Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
• Strong organizational multi-tasking and time management skills
• Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within team
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
• Strong facilitation and project management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment
• Strong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong knowledge of C# JavaScript HTML SQL IIS and Visual Studio
• Strong knowledge of web-server functionality
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
• Up to 5% travel time required
