Role Overview

This is an early-career engineering role designed for builders who want to get hands-on experience with real-world AI systems and customer-facing products.

You’ll work closely with customers, ship features quickly, fix real problems, and help build the foundational layers of our AI platform—including MCP (Model Context Protocol) layers, AI agents, and communication workflows.

This role is ideal for someone who learns fast, experiments often, and is comfortable using AI coding tools as part of their daily workflow.

What You’ll Work On

Customer-Facing Engineering

Work directly with end customers to understand issues, debug problems, and ship fixes
Customize workflows and features based on real customer use cases
Improve reliability and performance of deployed systems

AI Agent & MCP Layer Development

Build and iterate on AI agents for chat, automation, and support use cases
Develop and maintain MCP layers to structure context, memory, and tool usage
Experiment with prompts, tool-calling, and agent workflows

Product Development

Implement new features across frontend and backend
Fix bugs, improve UX, and optimize performance
Contribute to APIs, dashboards, and internal tools

AI-Assisted Engineering

Actively use tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar to accelerate development
Learn how to collaborate with AI to write, debug, and improve code
Continuously refine workflows for faster shipping

Required Skills

Working knowledge of React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Exposure to backend development using Ruby and/or Java
Ability to build and understand full stack applications (frontend, APIs, databases)
Understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, REST APIs, basic system design)
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
Strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly
Important: AI-Native Workflow

We expect engineers to actively use AI tools while coding.
You should be:

Comfortable prompting AI tools to generate and debug code
Able to verify, edit, and improve AI-generated output
Curious about how AI can speed up development and problem-solving

Nice to Have

Exposure to LLMs or AI APIs
Experience building small projects (side projects, internships, hackathons)
Basic understanding of real-time systems (WebSockets, messaging)
Familiarity with Python or backend services
