This person would be joining a Platform & Framework Services team to assist in building out new functionality and automation for the Change Data Capture (CDC) product. Our team owns and manages a platform that handles hundreds of data replication pipelines at scale which help liberate data from legacy mainframe systems to more easily consumed streaming platforms across the organization.

Our team operates in an Agile environment, serving our platform customers while maintaining steady progress on improvements and automation across our platform. Our technology stack also includes many bleeding edge DevOps technologies and so our team has built up a strong culture of mentorship for TDPs rotating in to learn the relevant skills.

Our upcoming priorities relevant to your rotation are as follows:

• Cloud platform offering: we are in the process of architecting a cloud offering of our platform, enabling CDC functionality in the cloud for our customers. This effort would include the development of agent-based automation written in Go and creation of automated pipelines for scaling of our platform in the cloud
• HCP Console integration: We are enabling production self-service interaction using HCP Console, the standard portal for interactions with infrastructure and platforms at Optum. We will leverage the previously discussed agent automation to allow our team and our customers to interact with our platform through a UI console and perform a migration to Console for our production resources
  
  

Primary Responsibility
