About the job:
Key responsibilities:
1 - Implement all test activities including BDD, API testing, UI testing (Browser and Mobile), Performance, Security, Exploratory, and Accessibility testing, adhering to the Global Test Strategy.
2 - Support cross-POD teams and Quality Engineering teams to ensure all testing dependencies and touchpoints are in place.
3 - Deliver well-structured, maintainable, and fully tested systems within time and budget during development and support phases.
4 - Represent Quality Engineering in Scrum and key project meetings, providing a single point of accountability and escalation for testing.
5 - Establish effective working relationships across all stakeholders and provide recommendations on product readiness to go live.
6 - Mentor Automation Test Engineers and Exploratory Testers within the cross-functional team.
7 - Identify blockers and suggest problem-solving approaches or workarounds to avoid delivery delays.
8 - Contribute to process improvement and efficiency within the Quality Engineering discipline.

Other Requirements:
1 - Experience in building and enhancing automation frameworks.
2 - Strong Quality Engineering and Test Management skills.
3 - Good understanding of the Retail Banking domain and requirements.
4 - Hands-on experience with Core Java, Maven/Gradle, REST API, REST Assured/Karate, Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, and Java IDEs.
5 - Knowledge of HTTP, JSON, Cucumber, BDD methodology, Gherkin syntax, JIRA, Jenkins (CI/CD), and Confluence.
6 - Working experience in Agile/SAFe methodology with ‘in-sprint’ automation.
7 - Basic understanding of Performance and Cyber Security Quality Engineering.
8 - Familiarity with cloud architectures, Kubernetes, Docker, and Browser Stack or other cloud-based device farms.
