AWS Cloud Engineer - Specialist

The position focuses on streamlining deployment and security architecture. This also includes expanded responsibilities surrounding all infrastructure support including application monitoring, software builds machines, and software support servers. The candidate should have a penchant for solving tough technical problems, and a dedication to ensuring high availability.

Koch Equity Development acquires Transaction Network Services (TNS) on 2021-04-14. LLC is the acquisition and investment subsidiary of Koch Industries. TNS is a leading global provider of data communications and interoperability solutions for the payments, telecom and financial markets industries.

What You Will Do

• Administration of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure.
• Must be able to design and implement best practice AWS architectural footprinats.
• Implement CD/CI pipelines and other automation toolsets
• Work independently as part of a team, including cross-functional teams.
• Interface with a multitude of diverse personalities in a professional and consistent manner.
• Identify problems, recommend solutions and perform triage in a team environment.
• Exposure to machine learning and AI would be additional advantage.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Minimum of 6 to10 years of IT/Engineering experience.
• Highly proficient with implementing and administering AWS.
• Recognized AWS certifications will be highly regarded
• Hands-on experience building & administering AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, EBS, Route 53, VCP, Endpoint etc)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) management using tools such as YAML, JSON and PowerShell
• Intermediate level scripting skills in any of the following (Python, PowerShell or Bash)
• Exposure to Agile/DevOps principles such as CI/CD and experience working with Git, GitLab, Bamboo, Artifactory etc

What Will Put You Ahead

• Proven experience in testing and validating High throughput, resilient Web applications and APIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new tools/practices and coach teams in adopting them
