Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in modern data engineering techniques to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and build scalable, reliable data assets. The role demands strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, and AWS, as well as a solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, refactoring, and code optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data integration solutions using PySpark and Python.
• Optimize data processing and performance through Spark SQL and efficient PySpark programming.
• Implement unit tests and test-driven development (TDD) practices to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver efficient data solutions.
  
  

Role Requirements And Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of Strong hands-on programming experience with Pyspark, Python, Boto3 including Python Frameworks, libraries according to python best practices.
• Strong experience in code optimization using spark SQL and pyspark.
• Understanding of Code versioning ,Git repository , JFrog Artifactory.
• AWS Architecture knowledge specially on S3, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, CloudFormation etc and able to explain benefits of each
• Code Refactorization of Legacy Codebase: Clean, modernize, improve readability and maintainability.
• Write tests before code, ensure functionality, catch bugs early.
• Debug complex code, isolate issues, resolve performance, concurrency, or logic flaws.
