Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow while maintaining data integrity and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using AWS services.
• Integrate diverse data sources and ensure data consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Implement data security measures and maintain data integrity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure optimal performance.
• Optimize and maintain data warehouse and data lake architectures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on AWS.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python and Pyspark.
• Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices.

Technical Skills:

• AWS services: Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda
• Python, Pyspark
• SQL
• Data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow)
• Data warehousing
• ETL tools
