AWS DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and be passionate about cloud technologies. You will be responsible for helping deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the deployment and management of AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.
• Work alongside senior engineers to design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS infrastructure, ensuring cost-efficiency and operational excellence.
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies in AWS environments.
• Support infrastructure automation through scripting and tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain system stability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration between AWS services and applications.
• Ensure that security best practices and compliance requirements are met.
• Continuously learn and adopt new AWS services, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience working with AWS technologies.
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, etc.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPC, subnets, routing, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate) is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Basic knowledge of containers and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
