Job Title: Azure Data Architect - Data Migration
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead our data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of data architecture and management principles, along with a deep understanding of the Azure cloud platform. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing data migration solutions to ensure seamless transition and integration of data systems.
Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end data migration solutions using Azure services.
• Analyze existing data systems and develop strategies for data migration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models and architecture documentation.
• Ensure data migration processes comply with data governance and security standards.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues during and after migration.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data migration team.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture and management.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Data Factory).
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer).
• CALMS2 experience is added advantage.
