Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Stakeholder Management : Proactively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leadership, product owners, development teams, and end-users, to understand their strategic objectives, challenges, and needs.
- Elicitation and Validation of Complex Requirements : Lead requirements gathering sessions using various techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys, brainstorming) to elicit, analyze, and validate complex business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Detailed Documentation and Specification : Prepare high-quality and comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and other related business and technical documentation, ensuring clarity, traceability, and completeness.
- Visual Modeling and Prototyping : Create clear and effective visual representations of requirements, including detailed wireframes, user flow charts, process flow diagrams, use cases, and data models, to facilitate understanding and communication across teams.
- Collaboration with Tech and Design Teams : Act as a primary point of contact for the technology and design teams, providing clarification on requirements, participating in technical design discussions, and ensuring that the proposed solutions align with business needs.
- User Story Definition and Management : Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria for agile development teams. Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Facilitation and Negotiation : Facilitate effective communication and negotiation among stakeholders to resolve conflicts, prioritize requirements, and ensure a shared understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Support for Testing and Quality Assurance : Assist in the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that the delivered solution meets the defined business requirements and goals. Investigate and analyze defects raised during testing.
- Business Process Analysis and Improvement : Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation. Propose and document recommended
- Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze data to support business decisions, identify trends, and validate the impact of implemented solutions.
- Mentorship and Guidance : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts,
- Contribution to BA Practice : Participate in the development and refinement of business analysis methodologies, templates, and tools within the organization.
- Extensive Stakeholder Management Experience : Proven ability to effectively engage, influence, and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Expertise in BRD & FRD Documentation : Deep understanding of the principles and best practices for creating comprehensive and well-structured Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements Documents.
- Proficiency in Wireframing & User Flow Creation : Hands-on experience with creating detailed and user-friendly wireframes, user flow charts, and process diagrams to effectively communicate user interactions and system workflows.
- Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) : Exceptional ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Experience with Business Analysis Tools : Proficiency in using industry-standard tools such as JIRA (for issue tracking and project management), Confluence (for collaboration and
similar tools is also valuable.
Understanding Of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Solid understanding of different SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the role of the Business Analyst within each.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools.
- Experience with business process modeling notations (e.g., BPMN).
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to take initiative.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
