About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team in Gurgaon.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

You will be responsible for leading the analysis, documentation, and communication of complex business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful delivery of projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, and the ability to drive clarity and consensus across cross-functional teams.

You will be expected to take ownership of the business analysis process, mentor junior analysts (if applicable), and contribute to the continuous improvement of our business analysis practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Stakeholder Management : Proactively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leadership, product owners, development teams, and end-users, to understand their strategic objectives, challenges, and needs.
  
  

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships.

• Elicitation and Validation of Complex Requirements : Lead requirements gathering sessions using various techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys, brainstorming) to elicit, analyze, and validate complex business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Detailed Documentation and Specification : Prepare high-quality and comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and other related business and technical documentation, ensuring clarity, traceability, and completeness.
• Visual Modeling and Prototyping : Create clear and effective visual representations of requirements, including detailed wireframes, user flow charts, process flow diagrams, use cases, and data models, to facilitate understanding and communication across teams.
• Collaboration with Tech and Design Teams : Act as a primary point of contact for the technology and design teams, providing clarification on requirements, participating in technical design discussions, and ensuring that the proposed solutions align with business needs.
• User Story Definition and Management : Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria for agile development teams. Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Facilitation and Negotiation : Facilitate effective communication and negotiation among stakeholders to resolve conflicts, prioritize requirements, and ensure a shared understanding of project scope and objectives.
• Support for Testing and Quality Assurance : Assist in the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that the delivered solution meets the defined business requirements and goals. Investigate and analyze defects raised during testing.
• Business Process Analysis and Improvement : Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation. Propose and document recommended

• Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze data to support business decisions, identify trends, and validate the impact of implemented solutions.

• Contribution to BA Practice : Participate in the development and refinement of business analysis methodologies, templates, and tools within the organization.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Extensive Stakeholder Management Experience : Proven ability to effectively engage, influence, and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Expertise in BRD & FRD Documentation : Deep understanding of the principles and best practices for creating comprehensive and well-structured Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements Documents.
• Proficiency in Wireframing & User Flow Creation : Hands-on experience with creating detailed and user-friendly wireframes, user flow charts, and process diagrams to effectively communicate user interactions and system workflows.
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) : Exceptional ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
• Experience with Business Analysis Tools : Proficiency in using industry-standard tools such as JIRA (for issue tracking and project management), Confluence (for collaboration and
  
  

documentation), Lucidchart or Figma (for diagramming and prototyping). Familiarity with other

similar tools is also valuable.

Understanding Of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Solid understanding of different SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the role of the Business Analyst within each.
  
  

Preferred Skills And Experience (Bonus Points)

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools.
• Experience with business process modeling notations (e.g., BPMN).
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
