The Opportunity

Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Business Analytics Analyst I, who will be responsible for delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• Ensure all metrics and other reports are published on time with accuracy in data
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing report
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Part take in Operational meetings and conduct process related trainings programs for team/site managers/decision makers.
• Identify & build metrics which would help the business to perform better
• Identify scope for automation & improvement of existing business reporting.
• Be part of project team and/or lead projects with the stakeholders or individually which are strategic and drives business results.
  
  

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Proven working experience as a data analyst for 3+ years
• Excellent communication skill
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development and data mining techniques
• Advance skills in MS excel(Power Pivot, Formulas and Functions and Conditional Formatting)
• Ability to design and develop complex data models using SQL Querying
• Experience using BI tools like (PowerBi, MSBI, Tableau etc) to provide profound data visualizations.
• Advance skills in VBA/MS Access Automations will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge in supply chain & SAP is must.
• Experience in Project Management & ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Candidates with experience in Six Sigma projects LEAN concepts are preferred.
