Business Analyst - Electrical (H/F) - AIRBUS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED

Job Description: Description: Elec ART team, within IM is responsible for working with PLM tools and, Community provides services which enable end-users (internal and suppliers) to efficiently use deployed Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions on a day-to-day basis and to facilitate the security as well as the quality of data generated and modified with these solutions. Business analyst has to define and ensure the E2E continuity of Elec Applications design and its related process and analyse the gap in process if any. Qualification & Experience:

Engineering graduate or postgraduate with 4-7 years of experience in the Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical domain, with background on Airbus Electrical Processes.

• Experienced in one of the domains below for the role
  • Electrical Functional knowledge: Wiring Diagram, Principle Diagram, Sketch, DQN, Configuration management, CIRCE-C, CIRCE-G, TAKSY ELSY / GESY, BCAWD, SIDIE...
  • Electrical Physical product knowledge: Catia design like Full 3D design process knowledge, Proptool, 2DGraph, Morphology, Electrical Layouts process, ADAP/ADF design solution preparation, of PartZone/, ESI Design Automation
  • Electrical Manufacturing knowledge: Form Board design, CIRCE-P
    
    
• Functional Knowledge on Product Data Management (Product Structure, Release Process, Change management, BOM, etc.) on Single Aisle/A350/A380 programs.
• Hands-on experience of CAD/PDM/TDM applications (such as Windchill, Enovia VPM, CADINT, CATIA V5, APS, DMU tools,etc..) and good understanding of configuration management, Digital Mock Up principle.
• Understanding on Downstream feeding from Electrical Functional Design to Manufacturing and Customer Services toolsets.
• Awareness of the Lean PLM SA project would be a plus.
• Knowledge on SQL queries to do some data analysis is an added advantage.
• Software Project Management experience will be preferred. Understanding of finance, business planning, stakeholder management is expected.
• Well aware of Project Lifecycle, from initiation to closure. Ability to generate KPI and drive improvements at different levels of project lifecycle.

Responsibilities : Translates the business needs into IT requirements and proactively identify opportunities for business transformation or improvement enabled by technology. Develops a solid understanding of the customer's existing business and business processes ideally end-to-end, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related technologies. Formulates functional and nonfunctional requirements of the business organisation and advises on the lifecycle of the information solutions. Evaluates the impact in terms of change management. Collaborates with the IT Product Manager while ensuring that the developed solutions are inline with evolving customer needs.

• Define Concept solution for the business requirements and write/update concept phase dossiers (CPD)
• Write/Update functional specification dossiers for applications that will be used by the development team.
• Raise and maintain the awareness and knowledge of PDM Applications and related methods
• Master existing AIRBUS PLM solutions and IT platforms.
• Support in L2, L3 ITSM process to support electrical tools in Incident management, Knowledge management, request management, change management & Problem management.
• Conduct workshops with business and other stakeholders to understand the E2E flow for Electrical Physical and Functional Design.
• Analyse the impacts on the Electrical toolset in the E2E application landscape.
• Perform impact analysis of AS-IS vs TO-BE landscape of Electrical processes.
• Analyse the Systems in Context to foresee impacts in the E2E Elec solution.
• Evaluate impacts on Interfaces of Electrical tools with various PLM tools and downstream products
• Work in collaboration with a Europe based transnational team (located in France, Germany, UK, and Spain) from India.
• Able to understand existing Electrical Functional dossiers.
• Providing functional coaching to the teams, if needed
• Defining the E2E test landscape for Electrical Physical and Functional design convergence.
• Understand the E2E Electrical design process and identify the gaps/scope for improvements in the PLM world.
• Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout the project lifecycle
