Overview
Key Responsibilities:
· Business Requirements Gathering:
o Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges.
o Gather, document, and analyse business requirements and ensure alignment with the project's goals.
o Lead and facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions with internal teams and clients.
· Process Improvement & Documentation:
o Analyse existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest process improvements.
o Document functional and technical specifications in a clear and concise manner.
o Create use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams for stakeholders and development teams.
· Solution Design & Implementation:
o Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
o Assist in the design of IT systems, ensuring they meet business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
o Participate in system testing and validation to ensure alignment with business requirements.
· Stakeholder Management & Communication:
o Serve as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and management.
o Present findings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and project stakeholders.
o Ensure clear and consistent communication across project teams and with clients.
· Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Analyze business data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
o Generate reports and dashboards to monitor business performance and project progress.
· Change Management & Training:
o Assist in managing change within the organization by preparing training materials and conducting user training sessions.
o Support the deployment and adoption of new solutions and technologies.
· Project Coordination & Delivery Support:
o Work closely with project managers to track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
o Monitor project progress and help resolve issues related to scope, timelines, and quality.
o Provide insights and recommendations to improve project delivery efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
· 4-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in the IT/Software industry and including at least 2-3 years in IOT/ telematics/ GPS software development/ Ed Tech.
· Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
· Proficiency in business analysis documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.
· Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
· Knowledge of enterprise software solutions (ERP, CRM) is a plus.
· Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT project management practices.
· Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
Nice to Have:
· Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
· Knowledge of automation tools or business intelligence software.
· Understanding of cloud technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
