As a Business Analyst at Synechron, you will facilitate the requirements gathering process, collaborate with stakeholders and development teams, and drive projects to successful completion, ultimately contributing to our overall business objectives.
Software Requirements
- Required:
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and BPMN
- Familiarity with project management tools, including JIRA, Asana, and Trello
- Experience with data analysis tools, particularly SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing processes
- Preferred:
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Exposure to additional project management software
- Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis processes to understand business needs and objectives
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
- Ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical solutions in partnership with development teams
- Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including requirements specifications, process flows, and test plans
- Communicate project status, progress, and risks effectively to stakeholders
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Essential: Agile, Waterfall, BPMN
- Preferred: Scrum certification
- Databases/Data Management:
- Essential: SQL
- Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools
- Project Management Tools:
- Essential: JIRA, Asana, Trello
- Essential:
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality business analysis projects
- Preferred:
- Experience in the financial services or technology industry
- Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis sessions to capture business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and develop project plans and schedules
- Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Maintain and update project documentation, including process flows and test plans
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, progress, and risks
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Certifications:
- Professional certification in Business Analysis is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven leadership and teamwork capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning
- Customer-focused with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
