You will experience an international work environment with lean management. The Peter Lang headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, are the central hub for management and administration. The rest of our team is based in continental Europe, Anglo-American regions, and Asia with offices in Berlin, New York, Oxford, Brussels, Chennai and supporting locations in Vienna, Warsaw, Istanbul and Madrid.

Introduction

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join us in supporting our Acquisitions Editors in the important work of author communication, peer review management, manuscript support and preparation, facilitating dialogue with Production and liaising with back-office support in completing and maintaining data. 

You will work closely with colleagues in various departments, and should have a proactive, critical-thinking approach to managing your work. Training and support will be given, but a self-starter approach is very welcome.

Key Responsibilities 

• Reporting to Management
• Consolidating all the reports
• Measuring performance of Vendor, SAAS engine, People and products
• Quality ratings at definite regular intereval
• Tracking of projects
• Followup deliveries
• Failure intimation, alerting to avoid failures
• KPI manangment of all staffs

Required Qualifications & Skills 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• An understanding of academic publishing  
• Organized and adaptive mindset 

Location: remote, CET time zone
