What You'll Do…

• The primary task of a Business Analyst is to handle queries/tasks received from customers/stakeholders and/or assigned to them by their supervisors
• He / She must show the willingness to learn new things every time and then
• To accept direction / responsibility and maintain performance levels as per the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) assigned by the supervisors
• To be open to take additional responsibilities of training colleagues
• Consults with others on problems and activities; collects information from a range of sources to assist and guide job activities; asks effective questions to obtain information to help him/her perform their job
• Takes accountability for delivering on commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development; openly discusses his/her actions and their consequences both good and bad
• Aggressively pursues challenging goals and objectives; will to put in considerable time and effort to accomplish objectives; takes a highly focused, goal driven approach toward work

What You’ll Need…

• At least 2 years of experience in Pricing (Rates, Tariff, Contract Management, RFQ handing) is preferred
• At least a bachelor’s degree in any stream
• Shipping/Freight Forwarding background with strong communication, negotiation, and customer-centric skills
• Must have good knowledge about RFQ / Rates and Surcharges
• Provide appropriate pricing for services to customers as per SOP
• Respond to spot shipment with competitive rates.
• Negotiate and manage service contracts with Ocean carriers
• Collaborate with global teams to enhance processes and share best practices
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate attitude for learning/Innovation and apply to solve problem in system
• Be able to work in shift and multicultural working environment
