Your Impact
As a Business Analytics Developer on the CX Finance Team (WW Services FP&A) you will work on projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing CX Profitability through managing Discount, protecting margin, and growing ARR. You will provide critical insights to the Deal Assurance Teams & Deal Approvers to "make the best deal possible" for nonstandard CX deals (new & renew). This role is a technical role requiring the ability to manage large data sets, perform deep analysis, and identify opportunities for process optimization. The Business Analytics Developer plays a key role in turning data into information.

Your Impact

The Business Analytics Developer plays a key role in turning data into information.
Responsibilities will include:
- Defining business requirements, researching & developing business rules, identifying constraints, and creating project plans
- Exploring & Preparing Data [query, test, cleanse, format, merge, overlay]
- Management of schema & databases; Data Processing involving complex logic and/or multiple joins.
- Engaging with stakeholders & collaborators to gain contextual knowledge, learn nuanced details for specific deals & accounts, as well as their user stories, in order to incorporate their feedback into the business analytics process
- Applying analytical models toward a business outcome [scorecards, alerts, statistics & drill-downs, root cause, forecasting, scenario analysis, simulation]
- Communicating results and providing recommendations (through reports, presentations, & dashboards) in a manner that integrates analyses into business decisions
- Managing communications through internal collaboration platforms & tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2 - 4 years of experience in a data & business analytical role
- Experienced in creating advanced queries in SQL (required)
- Proficient in Python scripting (required)
- Expert knowledge of relational databases (required)
- Knowledge of creating calculated fields in DAX (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) with the ability to manipulate, extract, analyze, and report large data sets
- Experience building dashboards with BI tools such as Power BI
- Understanding of SAP Business Objects [FinBI required] & data platform such as Snowflake
- Understanding of financial concepts & statistical models
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
