Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Business Analyst to join our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team. This role focuses on data-driven decision-making, dashboard automation, and process optimization across our e-commerce supply chain network.
As a digital-first platform for pet products and services, we operate multiple warehouses and dark stores that require precise planning, forecasting, and operational visibility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming business data into actionable insights and automating planning workflows to enhance forecast accuracy, inventory health, and replenishment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Data Analysis
Translate business problems into data solutions and identify key drivers of demand, supply, and operational KPIs.
Develop insights from large datasets to improve forecasting accuracy, stock cover, and fill rates.
Collaborate with category, finance, and supply chain teams to align metrics and reporting logic.
2. Dashboard & Reporting Automation
Design, automate, and maintain interactive dashboards (Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools) for S&OP KPIs — such as demand accuracy, DOI, and service levels.
Build automation models to streamline recurring data refreshes, reporting, and variance analysis.
Enhance visibility of sales trends, stock movement, and replenishment metrics across locations.
3. Forecasting & Planning Support
Support demand planning and forecasting cycles using historical data, seasonality, and promotional inputs.
Analyze forecast performance (MAPE, bias) and recommend improvements in methodology or process.
Assist in evaluating “what-if” scenarios for sales events, new product launches, and supply constraints.
4. Process Improvement & Automation Projects
Identify and execute automation opportunities to reduce manual intervention in planning activities.
Partner with tech teams to integrate datasets, improve data accuracy, and optimize planning tools.
Document process flows, SOPs, and change-impact analyses for continuous improvement.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a bridge between business, operations, and technology teams to ensure consistent data interpretation and planning execution.
Participate in strategic reviews, capacity planning, and network optimization discussions.
Qualifications
Experience: 0–4 years in business analysis, operations analytics, or S&OP within e-commerce, FMCG, or consumer-focused industries.
Strong understanding of operations workflows, KPI tracking, and data visualization.
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, automation, macros preferred).
Exposure to SQL, Python, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau) is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
