Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into scalable, efficient, and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements.
- Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions to understand current business processes and pain points.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- User Stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Develop process flow diagrams, use cases, wireframes, and gap analysis documents.
- Work closely with Development and QA teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of requirements.
- Support Product Owners in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
- Coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring proper business validation and sign-off.
- Identify process improvement and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure solutions align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain requirement traceability matrix (RTM) and project documentation throughout the SDLC.
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong expertise in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation techniques.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- JIRA / Azure DevOps
- Confluence
- MS Visio / Lucidchart
- MS Excel / PowerPoint
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and testable user stories.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working on IT/Software development projects.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- CBAP / CCBA
- PMI-PBA
- Agile/Scrum Certification
- Domain experience in Banking, Healthcare, ITSM, or other enterprise domains is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and facilitation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
