About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
2. Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Product Requirement Documents (PRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
3. Create process flows, workflows, and functional specifications to support product development.
4. Facilitate requirement workshops, backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, and stakeholder discussions.
5. Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
6. Identify process gaps, recommend solutions, and ensure alignment with product and business objectives.
7. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and product rollout activities.
8. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of product features.
9. Analyze user feedback and product performance to recommend continuous improvements.

Other Requirements:

1. 1. 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a product, SaaS, EdTech, or technology-driven environment.
2. 2. Strong expertise in BRDs, PRDs, user stories, workflows, process mapping, and functional documentation.
3. 3. Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
4. 4. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Zoho, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar platforms.
5. 5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
6. 6. Ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation effectively.
7. 7. Experience in EdTech, School Management Systems, or SaaS products will be an added advantage.

Established in Sept 2020, the company aims to build an ecosystem for children with differential needs to improve their physical, cognitive, developmental, and educational outcomes.

SpEd@home has created a learning management system (LMS&), that has been curated specifically to meet the requirements of children ages 6-13, having differential needs viz those with learning disability, ADD/HD, and autism spectrum disorders. It has been designed to help children achieve foundational literacy and numeracy.
